The Dale Holtzmann Scholarship-a $400 scholarship in memory of Dale Holtzmann, Past Triangle President and Triangle Service Award Recipient who was a source of inspiration to many of our current members.

Application for the Dale Holtzmann Scholarship

Dale Holtzmann was one of the original Triangle Institute founders. Dale was a longtime member of our association and served as a past president on the Triangle board of directors until his death in 2004. His wife Jane was also an active member of the association and her smiling face was always a welcome greeting

at the reception desk of all our conventions. Jane passed away in 2007. A scholarship fund has been established in their memory and a $400 scholarship will be awarded each year at our Fall convention.

Based on Dale’s desire to help new and young photographers, the scholarship will be offered to Triangle members with 3 years of experience or less. “Part-timers” with less than 3 years of experience may also apply. The scholarships will be awarded to the applicants deemed most sincere about a career in photography. Only Triangle members are eligible.

You can bring your application and print samples to our October convention on Sunday, October 23^rd. Just present them at the Triangle registration desk by noon or you can send your application form and print samples to:

Please pack your prints with cardboard and mark “Do Not Bend” on the envelope.
